The type of an Ireland visa from India depends on the purpose of your visit, duration of stay, and the number of entrances. Here are the types of Ireland visa based on the duration of stay:

Short-stay visa (C visa)

You can apply for a short-stay C visa to travel to Ireland for a period not exceeding 3 months. You need to apply for a specific visa based on the purpose of your trip. Following are the types of Irish short-stay visas:

Tourist visa for Ireland from India

You can apply for an Irish tourist visa if you are planning to visit Ireland for tourism purposes or for short-term English Language courses. 

Business Visa for Ireland

You can get an Irish business visa to travel to Ireland to conduct business, attend a meeting or for other business related purposes. A business visa to Ireland is valid for 90 days for any business purposes, including business meetings, contract negotiations and work for a maximum of 14 days. However, you can’t use Irish public services while on a business visa.

  • You will be redirected to the AVATS online application form.
  • Fill the form online with complete information. 
  • Once the details are submitted, you need to pay the Ireland visa application fee based on the visa you have applied for. 
  • Schedule an appointment at the nearest Ireland visa application center.
